I once had a dentist say, something to the effect, "only floss the ones you want to save!"

I believe Gingivitis IS destructive. If left untreated, you can get irreversible gum resorption....in addition to Periodontis. Brushing, flossing & warm saltwater rinses help alleviate the symptoms of Gingivitis.

There Is a documentary about your teeth, & every part of your body each tooth is connected to. I recommend watching it is on NETFLIX. Many sickness's are because of poor oral hygiene & Reqular Dentist visit. I also know certain medication can cause Problems with teeth. Read side effects of certain prescription s.

I believe the last person to die from gingivitis ( and, obviously, it's sequelae) was as recently as 1952. Good oral hygiene can improve the quality of your life as well as it's length

Things your dentist may not tell you. Do not brush or floss within 45 minutes after eating.
The acid produced in your mouth to start the digestion process softens the enamel on your teeth. Brushing and flossing will damage the enamel so cavities can for easily.

Obviously it’s gums 😎
