I remember the play very well. I was at my Grandma's house in Inglewood, CA, when it happened. That play and the Tom Brady fumble in the snow are 2 plays the Raiders would rather not have as part of their history. Both plays resulted in rule changes by the league.

I don’t know if it is a rule today but I do beiieve I remember a rule that a passed ball can’t touch two different offensive players consecutively. This ball hit Tatum, a defensive player, which makes this a legal catch.
