citizen Kane, Yep, Edison was an old crook, Tesla was a true visionary and a man of great talent and numerous patents that got stolen (including radio). Tesla wasn't in it for the money, he was an idealist who tried to make the world a better place. And lot of rich people like Edison and J.P.Morgan took advantage of him.

Edison stole this invention from Joseph Swann. Swann had failed to patent his invention. They did set up the Ediswann factory in Enfield UK so that says a lot about how Edison respected Joseph Swann. Edison was great at taking other people's ideas and inventions and perfecting them but to say he invented all his creations is an insult to other inventors.

Louis le Prince invented the motion picture camera. But le Prince mysteriously went missing as he was on his way to New York to get his US patent finalized. Edison then got his patent and is widely credited as the inventor
