Player #185561, these aren't pyramids, they are the temples in the picture. Which are also incredible works of architecture, and were aligned with the sun to highlight certain works inside them on certain days of the year, so moving them was no small feat... but it was done.

The ancient Egyptians may have buried things under the temples. Is there any information as to if they found anything of significance while they were relocating?

An amazing place and one of the highlights of my camping trip in Egypt in the 1980’s. Apart from the rickety plane and scary landing, it was well worth it.

Daniel, I highly doubt it, considering they were built by Ramses the Great, who lied about the Massacre of the Hittites at Kadesh (there was a peace treaty signed after it was considered a draw), he took credit for building temples his dad built, Ramses wouldn't hide anything.

Montana Lady, they were built by Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great, in the 19th Dynasty. The Giza Pyramids were built in the 4th Dynasty.
