In the American TV series "Gentle Ben" what was the name of the bear that played “Gentle Ben”?

Clint Howard is the younger brother of Ron Howard.

He played the little boy Leon who ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the Andy Griffith show.

I heard one day on set, that one of the bears decided to sit on little Clint. That must have been very scary.

I enjoyed watching that show growing up. Skippy, and Flipper as well.
