I've no fear of other people's opinions, but I do have a fear of other people, as I've found most to be very untrustworthy and hurtful; and worse, have been too close to such fear and atrocities to feel otherwise.

I wouldn't call it a phobia but I worry a lot about saying or doing something that upsets other people or makes them mad at me. I just try to be nice. I wish everyone would be...why can't they?

GrandmaTanya, A lot of people are trying to get a reaction from others. I am sure there is some psychological reason for this but I don’t care enough to look into it. I just keep scrolling. You seem like a very positive person so please don’t let them get you down. 😇

I think most people (including me!) have this fear to some extent. I would LOVE to not care at all about what people think of me! Maybe when I'm in my eighties ...

AutumnsGoldenGlow, I suffered from Agoraphobia too. It was crazy how it started. Was just out for dinner and got this horrifying panic like feeling and had to get out of there. So I avoided restaurants for years. Then it happened in a movie…so no movies. Then on an airplane, then at the mall. Then finally it happened at work, so I had to deal with it. Got therapy, started Yoga, and got educated on it. I didn’t know I was making it worse by caving into it and avoiding situations. Solution is to go, go, go to all places those places even if you think you will throw up! It’s the only way to gain your power back. I never comment on this game but when I saw yours, I thought I would as maybe it will help someone. Just having a name for it and knowing I was not alone helped me a lot.

Nicholas Smith, I can kinda see where you're coming from, but we had this guy at work who was always calling out snowflakes and I thought he was the hardest guy I ever met until I realised he was doing it because he was actually terrified of them! It turned out he was the biggest snowflake of all!

gina, you see I'm of the exact opposite opinion, because it seems to me most conservatives suffer from this, but I guess both sides must have their fair share of cases ... I suspect they tend to be the loudest in every debate too - the people who just start mud slinging to avoid hearing the other side.
