luckycatfay, Actually, the Hopibare pretty much where they were when they first contacted the Americans for help against the very aggressive Navajo. The Navajo had already annexed some two-thirds of the Hopi's lands. Things between the US and the Hopi were pretty good for decades before the school became an issue. Sad story on that part.
