Imagine a time when a working woman was considered “liberated”. It’s hard to imagine now that all women are expected to work. Our daughters don’t know or understand what the first working women went through. Unequal pay for the same work, sexual harassment, and glass ceilings were normal and acceptable as late as the early 1970’s.
