Eric, I was 11 years old when they crashed. They would have been my first concert , they were touring and my hometown was going to be one of their stops. My heart sank at the news of the crash and losing some of them. All my life they have been one of my top favorite bands. I dedicated “Simple Man” to my son the day he was born , August ,25,1989. I rededicated it to him the day I laid him to rest , July,2,2016. The worse time in my life. Simple Man will always be my song to my boy , Jesse Aaron Gregory.

You gotta respect a band that pens a tune making fun of themselves like “Gimme 3 Steps”. Also “Curtis Lowe” is way under-played and -appreshurbated
