I lived in Cliffside Park and attended Holy Angels Academy in Fort Lee. Enjoyed the park especially when a magician supposedly decapitated my younger brother!🤩. Then horror of horrors: they razed the Academy to build high-rise apartments and destroyed PAP.

Bergen is also the name of a town in Norway that was invaded by the Germans, and the architecture of the structures are of a German style. I was there in 1995 while on vacation.

Pchblsom, It was called Pacific Ocean Park. Our family went there just once, shortly after it opened. On par with The Pike in Long Beach, just south of there.

Palisades Amusement park had some really unique rides that you NEVER see in parks anymore, like a steeplechase carousel where you raced your horse against 7 others over a winding course. I remember going there as a young kid in the early 1960's.
