stashio2020, many years ago when I was a kid our father would pick us up on Sundays.. our visitation day. we would get into the car and he'd ask so what's going on with you guys? then he would start singing Joy to the World and before you knew it we were singing with him having a nice time driving around. seems he drank some wine too! so when I hear this song again I smile because they're all gone now and it brings back good memories!

I recently heard an interview (forget who with) that explains the song . Apparently people with serious alcohol abuse issues can end up damaging their vocal chords . This really deepens their voice,so they are called bullfrogs. Though why someone in this condition would have mighty fine wine , and be willing to share it is not clear.
