I was born in the middle of the Columbo series run but I have seen them all. I was a huge fan of that genre because of my wonderful mother. Rockford files, Kojak, Banacek etc. RIP Peter Falk.

Peter Falk was outstanding as Columbo. I learned as a kid that when they showed him eating ice cream, it was actually frozen mashed potatoes, which were used due to the heat generated by the lighting.

I grew up with Columbo and remember the pilot movie and the standing drama. Loved the way he would trap the bad guys/girls. To this day, I watch the reruns on my streaming device.
