Who discovered morphine?

A very important discovery. Morphine has helped so many people like my family members who unfortunately had cancer, and made their last days pain free.

My dad survived an explosion in 1960 in white Sands, New Mexico. He had 75 percent of his body burned. If it hadn’t been for the morphine to kill the pain it would have been unbearable.

So morphine is a pain reliever that thing the anneistelogist applied on my back when i was operated

Unfortunately it does not work for many people for pain managment without getting into questionable dose levels; and that can lead to ODs or resorting to riskier substances.

Marcy, I doubt if it was the anesthesiologist. They do primarily anesthesia, which is helping you breathe while you're asleep for surgery, etc

Morphine has good and bad effects like so many drugs. Of course, the problem is not the drug but the user of the drug.
