Almost got run over by a herd of these typically peaceful animals once. Someone yelled, "Stop running!" I discovered it was my running that caused the stampede. Terrified, I immediatly stood still, and so did the entire herd!!

wolfy🐈, Hindus do not "care for" the majority of cows. They are allowed to roam free across the country without limits and are not fed or given veterinary treatment. They are mostly starving and diseased. It is not in the best interests of the cows that Hindus leave these animals alone.

Unfortunately they are not treated that well, many are starving, have to cope with heavy traffic and when sent for slaughter are beaten and treated horribly, I have seen footage that made me cry for these gentle beasts.
