I grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. The closest one was Canandaigua Seneca Indian meaning "The Chosen Spot". I could drive 15 minutes to the next nearest one, Honyoye and The next closest one, Hemlock.

I lived in NY for a year and a half. While I disliked the weather in winter (we had to have a hot dip stick otherwise the oil in the car would thicken too much), the Finger Lakes region was really beautiful.
