TwoTin16, The Egyptians are pleased and proud to display what one's they have in the New State of The Art Cairo Museum. yes all the items stolen and taken to UK AND eslewhere, need to be returned 😉

budgie, It’s a 1st world’s version of looting. The 3rd world eventually catches up on technology. Even if they’re still behind, they should have a say on where the artifacts go, it’s their ancestry. Imagine if a stranger opened up your grandmother’s grave and took her body and jewels out for display.

TwoTin16, I agree. This is desecrating someone's grave. All for money. It's wrong.

How lucky he was and we are to have the knowledge and ability to see Tutankaman’s things and himself! I saw him in New York way back in 1983. At that time, they were able to bring King Tut’s body and the glorious statues of family members to New York. I thought it was strange that they brought his body, but I saw him.

There is a theory that the only reason the Pyramids at Giza are still there is because the British Museum couldn’t work out how to move them to London! I’m surprised the Victorian English didn’t work something out!
