Wrong, he was trained in Ainsdale in the North West of England by Ginger McCain. So he wasn't Irish there is a statue of him at Aintree which is located in the Aintree district of Liverpool.

not one person has actually commented on the greatest horse race in the world. if it hadn't had been cancelled this year I believe Tiger roll would have made it 3 in a row. not to compare with the great red rum as in his day the fences were much higher. Great horse!
