The peacock was the Greek Goddess Hera's totemic animal. She had a 100-eyed giant who was slain as he kept watch over Zeus (the philanderer) and Hera placed his eyes on the peacock's tail to memorialize him.

Supposedly Lillith was Adam's first wife, but she didn't want to be a "good little wifey" and obey Adam, and she didn't want to be fruitful and multiply. So she was kicked out of Eden and then became vengeful.

I see myself, and all strong women, as descendants of Lillith, the equal. I don't accept that men are in any way superior to women. Women are more highly-evolved, more human, and far less animalistic than men.

Peacock feathers were sacred to Goddesses, and thus were considered ‘bad luck’ by Christians (as with Friday 13: Friday is Freas-day, and 13 was a sacred number to the Celts)

Lilith was Adams first wife, and was supposedly the first witch. she is still invoked by witches today as a goddess/mother of witchcraft figure today in the same vein as Isis, estarte, Diana etc of the old pagan religions.
