Some cats and dogs can recognise themselves in a mirror... there was a video the other day of a kitten discovering he had ears in a mirror, and I've had several dogs that could do this. So Quizland I'd say this is not a good question!

strange question..anyway just to share, a rooster chicken definitely does not recognize itself in front of a mirror as it will seize and attack its reflection in the mirror violently and repeatedly!

We adopted a stray German shepherd/husky mix. When he showed up to our home, he ran straight to the bedroom which had mirrored doors, and barked repeatedly at the image. He thought it was another dog. Now my Jack Russell terrier watches tv.
