ripley, There are still purple carrots and if you live somewhere with those "hippy/yuppie organic stores" that sell you mason jars of water with asparagus in them for $10 a pop, you can buy overpriced carrots of various colors.
My mom lives in a place like that. I live in a small rural town in the middle of nowhere where we get whatever's in season & are just happy to have it. (Yay. Week 15: brussel sprouts again. can't wait. 🤢)
