always loved George Peppard in the A-Team Banacek and How the west was won the movie. He was also in Blue Max and Breakfast at Tiffanys. He's from my home state of Michigan.

Player katzpjs, Someone mispronounced his name on every show...my favorite was Broderick Crawford calling him Bananacheck.

I've read that he was difficult to work with, but it was a great show, with intriguing plots and a touch of humor. His other show, the A Team was more like a comic book. Interestingly, despite the cartoonish violence, they always made a point of the team never killing anyone. At the end of every spectacular crash, we always saw the bad guys crawling out of the wreckage - unrealistic, but a nice touch.

I remembered from having watched the show with my dad when I was a kid. Wasn't he also in the "dirty dozen"? I seem to recall seeing him driving a tank in a movie...

When in recently I had seen How West Was Won, I amazed how talented George was in doing impersonations. He was spot on imitating James Stewart who played the part of his father
