Many famous bands are from Canada: Arcade Fire, Blue Rodeo, Rush, Steppenwolf, The Band, Crash Test Dummies, Sloan, Skinny Puppy, Feist, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Crazyhorse, The Guess Who, The Jeff Healey Band, Red Rider, Loverboy, Men Without Hats, Nickelback, The Sheepdogs--those are a few I can think of off the top of my head that are both current and older, and I'm not even Canadian.

Back in the 90's, I was at the Yale bar in Vancouver and I was playing pool with my homey and in came Jeff Healy and Amanda Marshall. The Yale is a blues bar and it was on a night they had the Juno's in town and Healy and Marshall got up and played with the band. They locked the doors at 2am and they band played till 4. I have to say, what I got outta this was the knowledge that Blind people can drink a lot if they want. I am not sure if I would be comfortable drinking to excess if I couldn't see. Jeff drank as much as Keith Richards.

DSDA, you are thinking of Men at Work. Men Without Hats are from Montreal.

Most non-Canadians are a teeny bit perturbed about Beeber. But you gave us Pamela Anderson, Ryan Reynolds and the JEOPARDY guy, so we forgive.
