i had three sets of teeth, i had my baby teeth, then the actual teeth that everyone else has...and shortly after turning 14 they started to get loose and fell out getting another set of teeth. it's crazy wierd i know.

Having my wisdom teeth out was a nightmare! I had all 4 done at once. My face swelled up and I had 2 black eyes. I also was black and blue all along my jawline and under my check bones. That was before they all became infected! I'm glad I did them all at once because I would never have gone back if even part of that had happened!

Player #2579044, I hear you, my dentist drank. At 18 I had a mouth full of fillings and had never had novocain. Traumatized to this day (60 yrs old). Thinking of dentists brings to mind Steve Martin in 'Little Shop of Horrors'.

Never had an issue with my wisdom teeth until this year. I'm 39. My tooth had become loose last year but isn't cause any pain. I hate the thought of getting a tooth pulled or falling out. Well middle of the night I wake up and my mouth feels weird. I stick my fingers in my mouth and just touch my tooth and it falls right in to my hand. I put it on my nightstand and went back to bed. Sat up a few seconds later not knowing if I had dreamt it or if it was real. Sure enough there was my tooth on the nightstand. Here's the weird part....no blood, no pain, no root left, no nothing! The whole damn thing just came out! And there was no hole!

I'm one of those that didn't have wisdom teeth. I called that being lucky compared to the pain my sister had when they were removed.

I was lucky. my dentist said that I should have my wisdom teeth removed before they gave me trouble. after seeing the pain my girl friend went through after having oral surgery, I said no way! guess what? they never gave me any trouble . I'm 67 years old and still have 32 teeth. trust your gut, not your dentist
