Thanks to my ophthalmologist, my vision was saved 4 1/2 years ago!! Please don’t hesitate to see an eye specialist as soon as you notice vision changes or pain! It very well could be the difference in seeing and becoming blind!

nico robin, I remember way back when you were allowed to have only 1 eye done. And it cost $5,000.00. After 9-11 I checked into it and had it done in Manhattan, both eyes at same time and for under $3,000.00. The surgery was under 10 seconds or less. I now need prescribed reading eyeglasses for 1👁.The surgery corrected my(FAR VISION)--- called nearsightedness

An ophthalmologist treats diseases of the eye and does surgery. He/she is a medical doctor. An optometrist calls himself "doctor", but is not. He can fit you for glasses.
