I am fused front & back from L4 - L5 & the sacrum. 3 titanium rods, 8 screws & bone from my hip. 360° back surgery is horribly painful with long recovery. 10 yrs later, still alot of pain. Would not wish it on anyone!

I had a compression fracture of T12. It was the most painful thing I ever had. It took an MRI to confirm it and KYPHOPLASTY surgery to repair it. No more pain after they put medical cement into my spine!!

I have 6 , not the normal 5 lumbar vertebra like other people. One side of it is lumbarized (like a lumbar vertebra) and the other side is sacralized (like the sacral vertebra).
It was discovered when I had an xray after passing a kidney stonewhen I was 29. I was asked if I had lots of back pain. I didn't feel like I had anymore than other doing my same job. These days, 40 years later, my answer might be different. I do have a lot more than I used to.

Player nawa, I had a ruptured disk at C6, C7 and my Doctor talked about doing a fusion, but because I was only 30, he just removed the ruptured part. However, Mother Nature had other ideas, during the 40 years since my surgery, she has fused it for me. I did well for many years, but now have some limitations in my movements.

GatorMama2014, I understand you completely I fell and full impact onto my tailbone this happened 4 years ago have gone to multiple neurologist for the damage nobody wants to fix me. I’m going to Europe that could help me out so instead of getting it done for free (Canada) I will have to pay to get fixed. They rather have me on disability because it would cost them less. The disadvantage of socialized medicine
