Spinal cord goes through the spine and is connected to the skull, sure, but as soon as it "enters" the skull it becomes medulla oblongata, part of the brain, and not the spinal cord. The answer "skull" is not correct.
I do agree with people who say the answer "back" is pretty vague tho. But it is the only one that fits nonetheless
