MikaylaSunrise1967, no offense meant, but I think everyone is allowed to tour the Annapolis Naval Academy. They even give guided tours to the public as part of their recruitment efforts.

I was fortunate enough by the Navy to be chosen to tour Annapolis. As a counselor I learned many aspects and attributes of the Academy. It was a wonderful opportunity that I will always remember.

I knew this because an ex and I went to DC for him to donate bone marrow, we made a side trip to the naval base there. He was a corpsman. Got to go to the Smithsonian. Cool.

my husband and I and our families were born in Annapolis (Anne Arundel General Hospital) and we were raised near there. My father worked at the Naval Academy Primary School (NAPS) after he retired from the A&P...so this question was super easy.

I knew the answer, because I'm originally from Maryland and spent many weekends at the Naval Academy in the 1970s. the photo they used is definitely not of Midshipmen!
