Player #5621402, I make Black Forest cake but I prefer to use cherry brandy. I tried using Kirsch once but I found it made the cake too boozy for my taste. I also deviate from a classic Schwartzwalder Kirschtorte by using fresh bing cherries in between the layers and on top.
