Vivaldi's "Winter" was in Disney's movie Fantasia. It was a cool movie once upon a time.

I love Vivaldi! I've enjoyed and loved classical music since childhood. And I've passed that on to my nearly 18 year old son. I listened to classical music while pregnant and brought him up listening to all different classical composers. My son, like me, listens to all different genres of music. He has very eclectic tastes in music, unlike many kids these days who listen only to "popular" music of present.

This song will always remind me of Trading Places. If opulence had a theme song, it would definitely be Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

I was introduced to classical music when I was 9yrs old l remember sitting in Music class at school . My music teacher spent a lot of time showing us how beautiful music can be. He showed us the beauty of Classical music by turning off the light and played The, flight of the bumblebee , And The Four seasons, and other music that was beautiful and l Love all of the music that he gave to me during that year. The beauty of the music lifted a young girl from the slums and had me floating in the beauty of the music. l hope that everyone has the opportunity to be introduced to the beauty of Classical music and understand that you can listen to Classical music along with your top ten.

meldawg, My 24-year-old nephew too. My dad introduced him to many musical genres from a young age. And now, tho' he listens to a lot of hip-hop and techno music, he still enjoys a variety and if he's doing schoolwork, he chooses classical in the background.

While babysitting or two year old grandson, we always had classical music in the background, which seem to keep him very happy and calm. His mother reported that one day while his older brother was listening to hard rock, the two-year-old went to the radio and changed it to the classical station. Yes he was just 2.5 years old then.

And I thought the four seasons were parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.😭

Max Richter recomposed the four seasons in 2012. I was skeptical at first but I’ve really grown to like it. Not as much as Vivaldi’s composition of course
