So many comedians think shouting vulgarities is funny. Carlin knew his audiences had minds and used intelligence as humor. Miss him!

S, P, C, F, CS, MF and T. "And T doesn't even belong on the list! " I think I was 7 when I memorized them.

Interesting considering he was also in a version of Thomas the Tank Engine, a children's educational television show. Imagine him saying, "Okay kids. today I'm going to teach you some new words!"

George Carlin did use some obscenities in his dialogue, but there was so much more to him. He was a highly intelligent man, very well spoken, brought to light a lot of things that had been dark forever. He was funny as hell but his intelligence was astounding.

Ezalb17,
I think your C and F are transposed, but it's been a while since I listened to Carlin's routine. (I agree: "… sounds like a snack…")

Oktavinna, let's see if I can get away with this: they rhymed with wit, miss, duck, hunt, sock trucker, brother pucker, and wits, respectively.

He could make ordinary things funny. Once he was talking about lemon candy having artificial flavor while lemon Pledge furniture polish had real lemon. And don't ask about lemon scented toilet paper and what part of your body now smells like lemon!
FightingRooster
Yet another comedian lost to us. Loved his routines. He could have rolling
Lionessa
I'm sure I heard them all on TV in the past week...
Oktavinna
What are the seven words though????
Deb C
Southpaw, and the far right would have crucified him! He supported women's rights and protections for the LGBTQ+ community, safety nets for the poor, gun control, universal Healthcare. So many reasons the right would have banned him in this day and age.
Coconutlili
He was and still is one of the best comedians! Intelligent and funny! I miss him! A lot of his stand ups still apply today.

Unfortunately, if George were still here, I’m sure the insane far-left would cancel him. :-(

Ironically with the arrival of cable and streaming all those words can be found on television now. Just not on regular US broadcast TV.

A true genius. "Hey, what DO you say to a block of cheese when taking ITS picture?"

I'm grateful to have seen this great orator in concert in Sioux City, Iowa, around 1990-ish. Love to learn he was arrested the year I was born at a festival I attended each summer from 1980-1986 (saw the Monkees there in 1986).
