Who starred in a 1959 American epic religious drama film "Ben-Hur"?
Correct answer: Charlton Heston
HarleyMidgeyMom95.
one of my favorite all time movies. i miss Mr. Charleton Heston. what a man, actor, patriot, father husband...hollywood royalty for sure. not only was he Judah ben Hurr but also Moses and Taylor from planet of the apes, and el Cid. no one living today can compare with him. he was also for the NRA and that was his right to do as an american...God bless him... miss him alot.

a good actor for years thought Moses really looked like that

I recently saw this masterpiece. The whole evening was a great testament to how
'going to the movies ' was SO much MORE than 'doing a search on Netflix '.
From the moment the lights dimmed, to the final line of the credits,
it was " Classic Grand Hollywood "

Nana:Parents took me when I was 5. I guess they couldn't find a babysitter. I oh course fell asleep. I woke up to the chariots charging at me. spooked me but I love that seen. still can't watch his nemesis getting trampled. Excellent movie

HarleyMidgeyMom95., you sure know the stats on Charlton, I really liked the part in Hur, when he found his Mom and sister, such 💕 always brings a lump in my throat, the best Moses also.

There is also a rumor that a stunt man died during the chariot race scene and that his death was left in the final cut. It turns out this is false. A stunt man was thrown and it looks like he gets killed, but in reality all the horses jumped over him and he was fine.
