Although alchemy had been outlawed by the 17th century, Isaac Newton was a secret alchemist. Unfortunately, not even the brilliant mind of Newton could turn lead into gold.

Scientists are intelligent. They know the impact of lies and/unproven theories to their own postmortems. I love intelligent people like my dad. I wish I was intelligent.
Wyatt
Player #10364395, actually it's the other way around, Alchemy basically mean transformation
Wyatt
the people commenting here know nothing about alchemy, not surprising since the only things said about them are almost entirely false because Hermeticism was and I undergound religion and the burned them at the stake. A lot of what is attributed to themselves these days is mere fabrication. Did you know nothing that more alchemists devoted themselves to herbology and medicine than metallurgy? The transformation of lead into gold has more to do with the purification of the soul by the way. And the modern scientific method

Quite fascinating! it was so silly search but the thing that encouraged them was the interconversion of molecules but it's not possible to CONVERT elements but we can break a bigger into smaller atomic masses as uranium forms krypton, etc.
