when i had a vascular ablation, i exhaled the resulting gas - tasted acrid/burnt. asked doc about it, he said, "yup, the breakdown of the blood creates a gas, and your body gets rid of it thru respiration" gross, but pretty cool. the human body is fascinating!

Rees, if nitrogen was hard on our lungs we'd be dead, most of the air we breathe is nitrogen it only contains a small percentage of oxygen. That's why they give people pure oxygen in hospitals and some people carry oxygen tanks to increase their blood oxygen.

I fully agree with you! From what I see, you were implying that people should at least have the grammatical knowledge and spelling ability of a 5th grader. I know I sided/agreed with you not too long ago. Now, for that reason, I especially hate to break it to you, but at the moment you neither have your grammar or spelling ability ON a 5th grade level, nor did you learn them AT your 5th grade level (=in your 5th grade). I am a multi cancer survivor, breast cancer at age 29 and I'm in treatment now for NSC lung cancer now and I don't even smoke!
