Player #4554332, At art college where I studied graphic art we were taught never to use red and green adjacent to each other as they have the same wavelength and will not show a clear line.

A lot of the men I've gotten to know have real trouble with greens and blues, but not red.

My parents had a friend who was color blind and wanted to surprise his wife and save her work by painting the green family room in the basement yellow. It was the color she had chosen to lighten up the room. He thought he could tell where he had painted because it would be wet. The wife came home after a hard days work to the surprise. He proudly led her down stairs to the horribly painted green and yellow zebra room.

I'm one of the 0.5% of women with colour blindness, and funnily enough I work as an illustrator and graphic designer. I only learned I had colour blindness in high school and at that point already decided that I didn't wanna do anything else besides art, so here we are!

Colour blind is a misleading term, it should be termed"colour deficiency". I don't bother explaining to people anymore that it doesn't mean I see things in black and white. It means I occasionally think something is a slightly different colour

Maybe people that are diagnosed as "color blind" actually see the true colors, and everyone else has a deficiency in viewing colors.

Player Elf Counsel, You say greens and reds have the same wavelength. They do not. An electromagnetic wave of a certain wavelength from the part of spectrum we call 'visible' hits the cells in the eye and the eye's neural response is perception of a color. If two colors had "the same wavelength", they would not be two colors but one :-)

ConfusedJackal88876, I'm a carrier of color blindness. I have two sons that have it. One has problems with green and red. The other purple and blues. Mine is that I see some colors different from others. People say my coat is orange. I see it as rust or red orange. Red, blue, green, and purple, people argue with me about. Lol.

Player #32567393, blue/green color blindness is the only condition I've ever heard of, other than only truly seeing in black and white. Of course blue/green isn't even mentioned as one of the types of color blindness. Though I've found many "facts" in this game error filled.
