Melode, I started taking glucosamine and chondroitin when my knees started hurting, that was about 5 years ago now. the Dr said I need to have them replaced. I didn't want surgery so I tried this pill I take one in morning and one at night. I didn't think it would work but amazingly it has. I can't take other meds because of kidney disease. also try ice packs alternating with heating pad. keep knees warm it seems to help me

I have CIDP, fibromyalgia, DDD and a lot of other chronic pain conditions. The only way I make it through life now is by taking opioids. Before I developed these conditions, I rarely even took aspirin. Some of us on opioids don't want to have to take them but without them, couldn't function.
