Tanya, it’s true, they make so many movies about other wars but you seldom see anything about the Korean War. That’s sad because those soldiers that fought in Korea and especially those that died deserve the recognition and respect the others have.

My father lied about his age to enlist in the US Army and go fight the Communists in Korea. He came home, got married, made a kid, and died of sudden kidney failure. He died at the VA, but the Army can't tell me why. I don't know to this day. My stepdad was a submariner during the Korean War, then, after the Navy, he was an MP at Dugway. He refused all his life to discuss either one. I tried to get info about Dugway when he got old, but he never discussed it.
