What name is given to the Earth's single continent, which existed 335 million years ago?
Correct answer: Pangaea
nimblemoon, it's ok not to know all the questions. I simply find this question fascinating.

The earth has existed for around 4.5 billion years, not the 6,000 some people choose to believe. The fossilisation process of animal bones, plants into coal and oil takes a minimum of 10,000 years. Tectonic plates aren't just guess work because they seem to fit geographically. The types of rock like huge deposits of limestone or granite, say, match up. The plates are constantly moving. Mountains would not exist without the plates colliding. This cannot happen in 6,000 years.

There were also Rodinia, Pannotia and Gondwana. Continental drift is still happening, for the deniers out there, your tectonic plate is moving as we speak! Honestly why would you believe a book over evidence?

our planet is just like a jigsaw puzzle...all the pieces fits together... continental drifting is occurring in real time..

Player lilith666, I don't work puzzles but love word origins. That's how I determined Pangaea for my answer.

missing a question is especially awful when it leads to the forced screening of one of those egregious fat burning ads.. 😖

Apai, Not primitive just misinformed. A day in the Bible can be a 24 period or an era of time or unspecified length of time.

Tincantitan1, The planet is billions of years old as is the physical universe. But Bibical records of mankind's existence goes back to less than 7,000 years.
Apai
Yet some primitive minded people still think our planet is 6000 years old, hard to fathom...

Actually you can state whatever you want . It is not a fact until is proven however. It is a supposition or a a hypothesis.
I was once told that the laws governing aerodynamics have not been proven , yet aeroplanes still fly .
Please note : I don’t know if this is true.

Hunt Nelson44, Depends on whether it's the Old testament or the New. I seem to recall that during the Exodus he wiped out a few hundred Israelites because they complained about having to eat manna every day. Not exactly a loving act.
