FakeFire4615, you’re probably immune to it. When mangoes first came to the United States, people were highly allergic. The solution is to wash the mango with Tecnu, a liquid bought at the drugstore.

Never knew that and I have been eating mangos since I was a kid sneaking into our neighbor's yard and taking them off his trees in Mexico and to this day, it is my favorite fruit. Of course, I've never bit a mango to eat it. You first peel the rind off cause it's so thick. Related to poison oak? You gotta be kidding. But I accept it as gospel, without question, from this site.
