I read the book in ninth grade and did a project on it. I seen the original version. Lord of the flies was a pig's head on a stick with flies encircling it. Bizzare!

Ralph represents us average Joes. He’s only elected chief because he blew the conch. While he is sympathetic to Piggy and eventually his only friend, it’s his fault they all call him Piggy, the one thing he didn’t want.
