Cruel way to control animal population. Rabbits can be humanely slaughtered and used as food. Fast death is better than slow death with all sufferings.

Who knows what it mutates into it could already be responsible for viruses in humans. Look at mad cow desease where did that come from. Also had a friend with a beloved rabbit that roamed freely in her garden that died in agony from this.
