It is sad how commercialized Christmas has become or worse yet of not being able to say Merry Christmas because it might offend some snowflake.

Milktrucker35
Player Meyer, I say MERRY CHRISTMAS any way, not to offend but to spread the spirit. I am offended when I am told not to say it. I am tired of the one sided and politically correctness, nothing can be fixed or changed if you can not say what the problem is.

Mr. Rick
How about that freedom of speech, we should be able to say as we wish. To heck with political correctness! I believe in the America that supported that idea, and then went on to make it a rule of law.

It's disheartening to see all of the negativity about saying "Happy Holidays." Not everyone celebrates Christmas during the holiday season. Jews, Muslims, and others are acknowledged by an inclusive greeting such as "Happy Holidays."

Commercials sell. Unfortunately, they’re also responsible for “selling out” the true meaning/purpose of Christmas.

The pendulum of society's political & moral compass swings back & forth over time. We are in the middle of a swing to the "left". Be patient. It will swing back to the heart & soul of sanity. Let's just hope it's soon!

Most Christmas traditions are pagan. It's funny to me when supposed Christians complain when there aren't Christmas trees, Holly, or mistletoe - all pagan symbols.

If "happy holidays" offends you, how about "feliz festivus!"

I remember in my youth, my father dressed in his Santa Claus suit sitting in the middle of our living room floor yelling. "ho!ho!ho!". And that was in July!

humbeldywump
