ronnisimmons64, not good to lie in bed ...I have it in my right knee and now my left knee it's very painful my knees click and pop but I get up everyday and walk and exercise ...I have several knee surgery to clean my knees up it is starting in my lower back now so far I have been lucky with my fingers ... please I know how painful it is but lying in bed is the worst thing you can do ...me I am determined not to end up in a wheel chair...

I have this and it is spreading very rapidly through my body. Doctors also told me I have what is called Degenerate joint disease. It's very painful, sometimes the pain is so bad all I can do is just lie in bed and keep warm.

Osteoarthritis is painful for true. I had it both knees, but recently had a knee replace of the left knee which was the worse. doing well from TKR But may eventually do the right knee because it hurts now since I am able to walk without using a walker or crutches. But keep moving as much as possible is key to preventing being wheelchair bound or bedridden with arthritis.
