What is the new name of the Clyde Auditorium which hosted the Commonwealth Games weightlifting competition?
Correct answer: The Armadillo

SOOTI
It's always been called The Armadillo by the locals because that's what it bears a passing resemble to. It does also look like one of the sections of The Sydney Opera House.
There's now three buildings where there used to just be The Scottish Exhibition Centre, which is still there, but it's been joined by The Armadillo and The SSE Hydro. It was obviously called The Scottish Events Campus so that some of the signage for the exhibition centre could continue to be used (SEC), and almost everyone just called it the SEC anyway.
If you are ever thinking about going to an event there then I can guarantee that it is very user friendly if you have a disability, and I've always found the staff to be extremely helpful.
One of the best things about Glasgow is that the M8 almost runs right through it so it only takes a few minutes to get from the motorway to the SEC, The King's Theatre, The Theatre Royal, or The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
