The Napa Valley is a major wine producing region in which U.S. state?
Correct answer: California

GRILLCHEES
LoopyLynda74, wine grapes use very little water and that is why Napa Valley is great. Grapes need to struggle to produce the best fruit.

Great place to visit (if you’re a drinker); horrible place to live!! Try living in a city that venues solely to the tourist. Absolutely nothing for locals to do!! 😪😡

I grew up in Napa. I became ill and had to stop working went on Disability and Had to move away because I couldn't afford to live there anymore. Nobody can afford to live there unless they come from money, I read and article the other day that you have to make $47 an hour to afford Napa. that is not a misprint!!!! $47 an hour. that absolutely ridiculous.

Katherine , Try hiking 🥾, biking, car rallies, tons & tons of skiing right there and incredible Sunrises and Sunsets ...give Nature a try in this case would be a Sierra Mtn High. Being one silently witnessing and being part of nature is best thing 🌎 🌍 offers...and close to free. Take a blanket pack a lunch and lay still and see what wonderful bird and critters do their thing right by humans if we respect them and care for and about them. Saying nothing to do is such a cop-out. Invent Fun and take Family & Friends and educate kids...a whole Lifetime of Fun is right there!! Lived in so many tiny spots and big cities. Each can be "Glass half Full of wonderment and awe or half empty of eh takes a bit of effort" Try it once~Guarantee You shall be hooked for Life and Pass it On! Enjoy as Life is a Journey not a destination :) : ) : ) like a big Smile 'tis quite contagious!!! Happy HollyDays

I grew up in Napa but no longer live there due to the cost of living. No rent control and constant tourism has destroyed things for the people who actually live there.

I have picked up grapes in Napa Valley taking a truck load to north east above Montreal Canada. Delivered them to a small wine making company, took over 8 hours unload time because during unloading the workers, incoming customers and locals sampled wine. Made for a long day waiting for trailer to be emptied.
