Who discovered Uranium?

I picked the guy no one’s ever heard of.

Being a complete layman, I am puzzled. Associating radioactivity with uranium, would there be radioactivity present when it was discovered?

The correct spelling is Semmelweis Ignác Fülöp. The saviour of mothers.

I had absolutely no idea, I guessed but guessed wrong. Oh well.
