Do you know that his particular style has a lot to do with his poor eyesight.
In his 60's, he developed cataracts, which dimmed his vision.
He painted what he saw.

I can sympathise with him, I had severe cataracts.
I had my first cataract surgery two days ago ( under local anaesthetic) and the change in my colour vision is dramatic.
I'm looking forward to having my second surgery, in about four weeks.

Monet had a certain style I usually recognize. This painting is a favorite of mine,,but I like his water lollies too.He had such a color gift.I feel bad for color blind people.
