Weird synchronicity moment... I am very familiar with Leonard Cohen for years and years, but had never heard of his novel; just 10 minutes before getting this question the TV show I'm watching talks about LC's book "Beautiful Losers." Doo-doo-doo-doo (Twilight Zone theme fades in the background.)

matizimo, I read it in the early 70s. it's a radical, poetic, LSD-inspired story, with an almost non-sensible plot. But the accent is on "poetic". It was beautiful, and I loved it! Critics say it's worthless, but they miss the real message. Radical in its portrayal of bisexuality, which was not talked about in those days. You can get it for next to nothing on Kindle.
