Player #1935809, Zimbabwe was a British colony of Southern Rhodesia and would not have any accords or treat with the French . In fact they didn’t even have an independence treaty with the British, as the leader in the 1960s, Ian Smith declared independence unilaterally. Known back then as UDI , unilateral Declaration of Independence.

I taught in the Évian lycée a few years ago. A beautiful building on the edges of Lake Geneva. Good memories.
