In which U.S. state is the Chitina Tin Shop located?
Correct answer: Alaska

PoundtheFlesh
The question is cool, it's the lazy fact checking or editing that irritates. The description given is of the Alaskan village of "Chitna" NOT Chitina. It's also we'll known for the little mining operation, you night have heard of the Kennecott mine. thanks for reading my tirade 😁

I’m from Alaska and don’t even know this. I guessed it was. But second guessed myself since I’ve never heard of this shop before. I’ve lived here my whole life. Over 36 years.

I grew up in Alaska and have been to 'Chitna' many times but couldn't find 'Chitina' on the map.

Wendy Z
PoundtheFlesh, been there many times while I lived in Valdez. Thank you for the correction.

PoundtheFlesh, I had heard of Chitna AK, but not Chitina, so thanks for the clarification. Autocorrect caught you too! Well, we'll see!

I have been there! My Dad lived there as a child in a red still standing. I bought a beautiful fireweed watercolor numbered print that is one of my favorites. My Dad then lived in Valdez till he went to Fairbanks to go to College. My parents were the first to be married on campus! So many memories!
