I saw them live at the Ambassador in Newcastle back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. They were supporting the The Knack and James Reyne had both his arms in plaster. I knew straight away how great they were, and how forgettable were The Knack.

I love listening to a few of their songs every now & then. Australian music was still really big in the 80s now not so much as times have changed, Australia’s image has shifted. Sure there’s still some great Aussie music being produced, great live bands about gigging & people still love the old Aussie bands .. but the days of countdown & morning music chart shows are a thing of the past. I guess there might be some shows maybe but I don’t watch free to air tv anymore.
